Unfortunately my phone could not even manage the 2. point. Nothing appears on the top bar saying that the phone is connected to my computer… Even if USB tethering is turned on.
The strange thing is that previously I was using a different computer to transfer the files from my phone, and the above mentioned steps were working well that time. There is no problem with the USB connection of my computer though,I double checked it with a different device.
Any suggestions how to fix the problem?

      Hey Lindsi,
Seeing as I can’t look into your computer, this is just a guess, but it might have something to with the drive letter asigned to your phone. Try googling it if you don’t know what I mean by that. Again, just a suggestion.

I found that if I turn off my phone then plug usb into computer & then turn on the phone it will then recognize the phone and bring up notification at top of screen.
